A.Glass breaks when heating

1.Close to materials like marble, tiles or metal frames and there leave no gap. The glass break for there is no expansion room when heating up the glass. It breaks from bottom to top.

Suggestion: leave not less than 2mm room for the expansion when heating up.

2.Drilling hole. Drill a rectangle hole for power socket or other appliances installation; drill a round hole with diameter over 50mm for install faucet or other objects; cut the glass with glass cutter. It breaks from center to periphery.

Suggestion: avoid to drill rectangle hole or round hole with big diameter. It’s better to cut with water jet cutter.

B. Don’t work(heat up) after electrify

1.Misconnect the wire of defogger and ground wire

2.Resistance wire breaks; resistance wire connect with the supply wire

Suggestion:
1. Do not cut or drill the defogger. Clear the protrusions in case they scratch the defogger or glass.

2.Store in dry and cool place, and do not press it. Check the circuit before installation.

C. Mildewed after electrify

1.The glass itself does not meet the standard

Suggestion: pick a good glass

2.The glass glue used to install the mirror contains acid material. The glue hasn’t dried after a week and smells.

Suggestion: use neutral glue instead acid and alkali glue.

3.Damp back board or wall

Defogger will produce heat after electrify, and the heat may accelerate the decomposition of methanal and silicate, which will erode the glass. Feature: rust spots occur at the edge of mirror.

Suggestion: should solve the damp problem before installation. Leave some gaps
