A.Anti-fog installation
a. Tile the mirror on soft materials
b. Clean and remove firt and protrusions from the back of mirror
c. Position the anti-fog film and the back of mirror; pull the protective paper down slowly and use a towel or rubber roller to wipe the anti-fog film repetitively to make the anti-fog film contact the mirror back closely. Since the bottom face of the anti-fog film is adhesive wholly, the anti-fog film can be mounted simply and firmly.
B. Mount the anti-fog mirror
a. Terminal box: in order to facilitate installation, it is required to install the power source and the terminal box at the position shown as follows:
b. Base treatment: in order to improve the utilization of the heat, usually we install a artificial board which with a thickness around 12mm on the walls of the installation area as the base board.
c. Power connection: there is no positive or negative pole of the anti-fog film. You just need to connect the power supply input wire with the wire of anti-fog film
d. Installation of anti-fog mirror: apply the silica gel on the base board with certain spacing, and then attache the anti-fog mirror at the designated position
e. Power control of anti-fog mirror: the anti-fog mirror can share the same switch with the front lamps, fan and lamps in bathroom; or be an individual switch
C. Installation precautions
a. The rated voltage of anti-fog film must be as same as the power supply;
b. Use the anti-fog film appropriately; the anti-fog film provided by our company is not allow to tailor, drill, fold or redesign
c. The base surface to install the anti-fog mirror must be solid, flat, dry and free of protrusions;
d. The anti-fog film must be stored in dry environment only; do not put it in sunshine or rainwater;
e. Ensure the anti-fog film isn’t damaged, mechanical damage and keep its circuit work before and after installation;
f. You are recommended to install wire with decorations or install in embedded way, anti-fog mirror with individual switch or switch shared with lamps and fan. The connection of anti-fog cable and power supply cable must be insulated; keep the connection away from contacting wall directly; the exposed wire must be placed inside the insulated terminal box to prevent electricity leakage.
g. The anti-fog mirror will inflate a bit while working, so it is required to leave a gap not less than 2mm between the mirror and other objects. Otherwise, when there is no room for the inflated mirror, the mirror may possibly break.
h. The glass cement used to mount the mirror should be neutral; otherwise it may corrode the plating layer on mirror.
